We Tracked 170,000 Cam Models for 4 Weeks — Here's When They're Actually Online

If you've ever opened a cam site and wondered why your favorite performer is never on when you are, the answer is timing. Live cams feel like a 24/7 service, but the number of models streaming rises and falls by thousands over a single day, and it follows a surprisingly predictable pattern.

At LovePornCams we list live models from Stripchat, Chaturbate and BongaCams in one place, and we check every model's online status every 10 minutes. Over four weeks, from 7 September to 4 October 2026, that covered around 172,000 different models streaming in a typical week. Here is what the data says about when to log in.

The busiest hour is 20:00 UTC

Across all three platforms, an average of about 24,600 models are live at any given moment. The count peaks at 20:00 UTC with roughly 28,100 live cams and bottoms out at 10:00 UTC with about 20,200 — a 1.4× swing in a single day.

In everyday terms, 20:00 UTC is 4 pm in New York, 9 pm in London and 11 pm in Moscow. If you want the biggest choice of rooms, evening in Europe is prime time. Browsing in the European morning means the thinnest line-up of the day — though at 20,000 models, nobody is short of options.

Friday is the busiest day, Sunday the quietest

Averaged over the four weeks, Friday had the most models online and Sunday the fewest. The single busiest slot of the week is Friday at 21:00 UTC, with more than 30,000 models live; the emptiest is the early hours of Monday, around 02:00 UTC, at about 18,000. If you can only pick one night to explore new rooms, pick Friday.

Each platform has its own rhythm

• Stripchat is the largest, with about 13,200 models online on average, peaking at 20:00 UTC (around 15,200).
• Chaturbate averages about 9,800 and peaks an hour later, at 21:00 UTC (around 11,000).
• BongaCams is smaller, at about 1,600 on average, but has the biggest daily swing: its peak at 20:00 UTC is 1.6× its quietest hour, 03:00 UTC.

Models stream in their own evening

Stripchat lets models list their country, which lets us place them in a time zone. In each of the 15 countries with the most models online, the peak falls between 5 pm and midnight local time — cam work is evening work, wherever you are.

• Colombia is by far the largest group, with about 2,250 models online on average, peaking at 22:00 UTC (5 pm in Bogotá) — late evening in Europe.
• United States models peak at 04:00 UTC, around 10 pm local time.
• Philippines models peak at 14:00 UTC (10 pm in Manila), which is the European afternoon.
• Germany, France, Italy and the UK all peak at 20:00–21:00 UTC, about 10–11 pm local.

So if you have a type, timing matters: the same site looks very different at 14:00 UTC and at 22:00 UTC.

Girls, guys, couples and trans

Girls make up the bulk, at about 16,500 online on average, peaking at 20:00 UTC. Men average about 3,700 (peak 21:00 UTC) and couples about 2,600 (peak 20:00 UTC). Trans models, at about 1,750 on average, peak later than everyone else, at 23:00 UTC.

How long they stay on

A typical streaming day lasts a median of 4 hours on Chaturbate and 5 hours on Stripchat and BongaCams. Long sessions are common: 36–45% of streaming days run six hours or more, while single-hour sessions are only 7–13%.

The catch: only about 3% of models stream every single day of the week. If you missed your favorite tonight, it may be a few days before they are back — learning their usual hours beats refreshing the page.

Quick takeaways

• Most choice: 20:00–22:00 UTC, especially on Fridays.
• Fewest models: around 10:00 UTC and on Sundays.
• Looking for models from a particular country? Check that country's local evening.
• Favorites rarely stream daily, so learn their schedule.
