Hi I'm Kat! I'm a hopeless romantic with a poetic heart. My poems tell a story that began toward the end of the summer of 2020. For me this journey has been complex, heartbreaking, and beautiful. I have found pieces of myself that I had thought were lost to me. Pieces that I had believed I could never get back, but he found me and made me strong enough to find myself. Come with me at twilight to sit under the old elm
Beneath twinkling stars in a mystical realm
In a land of daydreams no pain and no sorrow
Only magic, kindness, and hope for tomorrow
A whole new world you don't know exists
Beyond time and space through an ethereal mist
It is there you will find me with a welcoming smile
Sit under the elm, stay with me a while
